Open Farm Sunday 8 June

Join us at Our Cow Molly dairy farm on Sunday 8 June!

One of the most exciting projects is the world Sheffield is the green energy transformation of Our Cow Molly. In the next two years we will introduce wind, solar and anaerobic digestion as a way not just to power the dairy farm’s operations – but to create green hydrogen which will be sold to Sheffield’s transport sector. 

As this is a partnership between a family farm and a social enterprise it’s key that we bring the community with us on our journey - and so on Sunday 8 June we are throwing over the gates of the farm! Join us.

Our Cow Molly and SY Ecofit are hosting an Open Farm Day welcoming 1000 people to Our Cow Molly to eat ice-cream, celebrate its transformation and learn about our green energy plans. We want people to become part of the team making it happen. The open day is free and people will be able to book onto a clean energy tour led by farmer Eddie Andrew!

There will be hands-on demonstrations of energy in action and opportunities galore to speak to the teams making it happen. And of course there is ice-cream. 

The Open Farm Sunday is free to attend. All money raised from £5 donations for the green energy tours will go to the farm’s decarbonisation project.
